Captain's Days

Sprite Days are now Captain's Days — new sprites, weapons, and map drops land on these dates. Windows open 9 AM ET.

Mastery Mondays run every Monday of the season from 9 AM ET: 24 hours of 2× Sprite XP and 2× Sprite Dust — the fastest window to finish masteries.

How to hunt

Digging up sprites

  1. Tear down a Wanted Poster to get a Sprite Treasure Map.
  2. Follow the map to the buried Sprite Chest and dig it up with your pickaxe.
  3. Open the chest — a Sprite Chest always holds a sprite, though which one is random.

Sprites also turn up in ordinary chests (not guaranteed) and drop from eliminated players who were carrying one. A Lucky Locator points you to a chest holding a sprite you're still missing.

Variants & mastery

Fortune forms keep the base ability and also reveal nearby chests. Cursed forms keep the base ability and improve your odds of finding rare variants — but water damages you while one is equipped, so think twice before pairing Cursed with Kelper or Barry O'Fish.

Gold variants return on 12 Nov and grant bonus Sprite XP from eliminations.

Master 7 of the new sprites to earn the Sprite Strongbox Back Bling, and mastering 40 sprites overall unlocks the Navigator's Nosedive Umbrella. Rewards live under the Treasure tab in the lobby.

Sprite Stamps

Treasure Hunters adds two stamps on the in-game collection screen, tracking how you extracted a sprite. Open a sprite's Info to record its stamps here.

Victory Royale stamp

Extract the sprite through a win — finish the match with a Victory Royale while carrying that sprite out.

First Edition stamp

Extract a sprite that spawned that match — the first time it appeared in that game, not a resummon.
